Peter A. Cundall Award

The Peter A. Cundall Award will be presented to the best overall paper submitted to Itasca's International Symposium on Applied Numerical Modeling (formerly FLAC/DEM). The award is named in honor of one of Itasca's Principal Software Developers and recognizes his brilliant achievements in numerical modeling throughout his extensive career. Dr. Cundall is responsible for creating the algorithms behind the software products that Itasca commercializes and uses. The award includes an invitation for the author(s) to deliver the paper as one of the keynote addresses before a worldwide audience at the Symposium.
