Applied Seismology

Itasca specializes in the commercial application of seismic monitoring for regulatory authorities and operators and has pioneered the application of microseismic, acoustic emission, and ultrasonic technologies to the monitoring of rock and concrete.

Using our seismic processing software InSite, Itasca can provide seismic and environmental vibration analysis, induced seismicity evaluation, monitoring and analysis of geohazards, baseline seismicity, and the impact of engineering options. We provide services in all stages of seismic monitoring:
