Revision Date Description
154 Jun 26, 2018

Bug fixes, new features, and improvements:

  • Quiet boundary calculations were using dry density even when fluid was configured. This has been fixed.
  • Local grid point mass corrections due to saturation changes in a coupled fluid-mechanical problem could be incorrect if the grid-point was next to a null zone or the target of an attached grid point.
  • The geometry node contour legend was rendering twice.
  • Corrections to tension hardening implementation in several consitutive models: chsoil, doubley, ssoft, subi.
  • Correction to plastic hardening calculatio in the modified hoek-brown model.
153 Mar 22, 2018

Bug fixes, new features, and improvements:

  • Fix the FISH intrinsic Z_PLANARITYFISH.
152 Mar 18, 2018

Bug fixes, new features, and improvements:

  • Turn off automatic increase in interface contact tolerance due to normal stresses in small strain mode.
151 Dec 19, 2017

Bug fixes, new features, and improvements:

  • Fix error in partial saturation change due to mechanical volume change.
150 Oct 11, 2017

Bug fixes, new features, and improvements:

  • Stop checking validity of zone while selecting join faces in generate logic, in cases where the geometry is only temporarily invalid.
  • Added option to zone isosurface plot items, allowing the free surface to be included to create closed volumes.
  • Fix bug geometry node contour legend rendered twice.
149 Jun 15, 2017

Bug fixes, new features, and improvements:

  • Fix face group for the command GENERATE ZONE TOPOGRAPHY.
  • Fix bug for hydration mechanical model when the hydration ratio is zero.
  • Fix when DFN on the boundary domain boundary.
  • Fix bug on tension hardening for strain-softening, Chsoil, double-yield and Subi models.
  • Fix bug that grid reflection not work for degenerate brick zones.
  • Fix bug on evolution parameter calculation in modified Hoek-Brown model.
148 Jan 19, 2017

Bug fixes, new features, and improvements:

  • Fix bug in GP ID found when zone or face plot is mapped.
  • FLAC3D now issues a warning rather than an error on restore when it encounters illegal zone geometry.
  • Fix crash for the command GENERATE ZONE TOPOGRAPHY when the background zone surface is a triangle.
147 Dec 19, 2016

Bug fixes, new features, and improvements:

  • Water density now can be specified either from the WATER DENSITY or INITIAL FDENSITY command if fluid is configured.
  • Fix FISH intrinsic zfd_reset not completely releasing resources set by zfd_initialize.
  • Made the IN_SLIP intrisic writeable. If set to 0, the slipping now bit is set. If set to 1, the slipping in the past bit is set. If set to 2, both now and past bits are cleared.
