Itasca at Balkanmine 2025!

ITASCA is pleased to announce its participation in the #Balkanmine2025 Conference. Our experts Lauriane Bouzeran and Amamia Nebreda will be present on site to share ITASCA's latest projects and modeling advances for mining operations.

They will present four technical papers covering cutting-edge topics such as:

☑️ Comparative modeling of toppling failures — exploring explicit vs. implicit discontinuity approaches in slope stability analysis.

☑️ Predictive modeling of stope stability in sublevel stoping using surrogate models and data-driven approaches.

☑️ Coupled continuum–discontinuum modeling for ground surface deformation prediction and design optimization.

☑️Hydrogeological numerical modeling of the Terrafame Kuusilampi pit as a key input for slope stability assessment.
