Itasca provides client-requested training courses on a variety of
advanced engineering topics in the application of geomechanics,
hydrogeology, and microseismic. Instruction is available either at
Itasca or at the client's location and can range in length from several
hours to several days depending on the topic and depth of information
requested. The course may, or may not, incorporate Itasca software and
will focus on providing participants with a recommended approach for
effectively analyzing and engineering the requested topic(s). Examples
of consulting courses Itasca has provided include: slope stability,
dynamic analysis for earthquake simulation, underground tunnels,
groundwater flow, and microseismic evaluation.
The training course will be designed to fit your needs and
experience. Participants are encouraged to submit sample problems prior
to the training session for review and course preparation. Training
course costs depend on the course location, duration, preparation time
required, and the number of participants (approximately six individuals
per instructor is recommended). Course slides and other documents will
be provided electronically for each participant.
