Position Overview
The Marketing Specialist will be a new role as part of a dynamic marketing and sales team, responsible for designing and executing a comprehensive marketing strategy to increase brand awareness and drive software sales growth. This role is ideal for a creative, customer-centric professional who is passionate about developing engaging campaigns, capturing leads, and nurturing them through multichannel platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Draft and edit compelling web marketing copy
- Develop and implement search engine optimization (SEO) and paid search strategies to achieve top rankings against competitors
- Plan, execute, and measure digital and email marketing campaigns to build brand awareness, generate leads, and drive customer engagement
- Create and manage digital assets and technical content across platforms such as LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and others
- Track and analyze the performance of campaigns and customer data, providing insights to the team and recommending opportunities to improve our customer experience
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, Communications, or related field
- Prior Marketing experience
- Technology systems, internet and social media savvy – preferably experience with WordPress (CMS), Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Adobe products such as Illustrator, Marketing Automation Platforms, and Email Marketing Services
- Familiarity with statistics and online advertising metrics
- Experience with Google Ads, Facebook and LinkedIn ads, and emerging digital channels
- Ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven marketing content writing proficiency
- SEO certification or advanced SEO training
- Prior agency or software industry marketing experience
Job Details
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Downtown Minneapolis, in the Barrel House boutique office building overlooking the Mississippi River and Stone Arch Bridge. 100% company-paid parking or bus passes available
Schedule: Monday–Friday; primarily on-site with occasional hybrid/remote work at the supervisor’s discretion.

Salary $70,000–$80,000 annually, depending on experience, qualifications, and skill set.
