Martin Le Mesnil

Hydrogeology Research Engineer

Martin Le Mesnil specializes in coastal hydrogeology, with a focus on modeling coastal aquifers. His work primarily addresses groundwater rise and seawater intrusion phenomena. He develops models based on geological analyses and piezometric instrumentation, enabling the simulation of medium- and long-term groundwater level evolution in the context of climate change.

His background as an engineer and his Ph.D. in hydrogeology, combined with his academic and professional experience, have allowed Martin to develop a deep understanding of the complexity of hydrosystems and the interactions between surface water and groundwater.
